Matthew Sutton
Poet, Activist, and Rapper

 

Matthew Sutton is a poet, activist, and rap artist who is passionate about making positive change throughout the world.  He is actively involved throughout his community to make positive social change through his music and artistic expression.  Matthew has used the power of his words to and inspired others to do so as well.  

The Challenge:

Amidst the recent civil unrest in south central Los Angeles, Matthew has been active in finding peaceful solutions to the growing challenges that face his community. 

While working full-time to support his family, he has still found time to follow his dream. 

He has created a new music video every Monday in 2021 using the hashtag #MatthewSuttonMonday.

Our interns have helped define how various social media outlets and music platforms work differently and how to create unique content for each.
